Spire`s in Tustin

Older restaurant with great food and specials. Their soups are homemade and so good that I've actually sent my husband to get some for me when I'm sick. The have so many comfort foods that taste like they're homemade. Service is always good and friendly but it does get busy on Sundays with great breakfast specials. A nice comfortable go to.

Usually I love Spires. But on this particular visit I ordered the sirloin steak special. Asked for my steak to be cooked medium for a more tender and juicy steak. But what I got was dried out well done steak. Everything else was very good, my daughter's burger was great, the soups, and salads were great. Just the steak was disappointing.

Spires is a older chain of greasy spoon type restaurants. Decided we'd give it a go since it's has been decades since I've been in one. Stepping into this Spires is like stepping back into 1980's decor. It is a well maintained restaurant but needs updating. The food was on par with other greasy spoon restaurants that have been around a couple decades or more. Our server was quick with the drinks but took a while to take our food order and longer to deliver the food. The food tasted good but was just a bit over lukewarm but not much when it hit the table. Cost was acceptable for the quality of food. The menu had lots of options so I'm not sure whether we'll be going back or not.

I like to come with my son for breakfast, but lately I been going late for just some dessert or soup.Everyone is nice, it's a clean place. Compare with all others in the area. Enjoy the carrot cake..Wil continue coming..Thanks for the great service...

I wanted to try this place out and it went great! I enjoyed being welcomed with my sisters, and it was clean, they kept the social distance, and gave us our order. We ordered the Lumberjack Breakfast it was delicious. All the employees were very nice, and check in on us if everything was good and it was. I'm definitely coming back soon :)

Good place. The best French dressing for salads. Food is pretty good for this type of restaurant. Love their friend chicken dinner, eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, chef's salad to name a few.

Tustin's spires is a great place to get a good meal at a good price. Are you still live over here and went to this one often. I moved to Long Beach and there was a spires there that I frequented. Sadly it closed. But luckily when I was pushing Tustin I was able to get our breakfast here. Fast service and huge portions. Senior prices make it even better.

Had a great lunch at Spires today. Food was great, but what made my visit so exceptional were the Spires Employees. ALL of them. Every single one of them made eye contact, smiled (while wearing their masks) and were warm and friendly. I loved watching the interaction between my server and one of her regulars who had not been in for quite a few months. So touching and it pointed out how important the human connection is, especially for our elderly population. Keep it up Spires! You are one of Tustin’s Treasures!

A great experience every time! Fresh consistent food, great service and an update menu that includes vegetarian and vegan options. Very surprising from an old school chain.

Spires is probably the most solid four from me I've ever given a restaurant. I would consider nothing here to be particularly exceptional, but nothing about it is bad either. Service is good, prices are good, food is good, hours are typical diner hours."Good" is definitely the word to describe Spires. And there's nothing wrong with that. Sometimes good is exactly what you need.

The food is amazing! I had Country Fried stake! It is so good it is well coocked! The server is so nice his name is Omar he always checked on you and see If you need any think like more water/ coffee or other things! Must go place for Breakfast!

I have had quality meals at Spires for over 40 years. You will notice how quickly and efficiently your meals appear before you.Most servers are bilingual.John M

I'm glad to see at least one of these iconic Orange County restaurants still open. Can't beat their tuna melt with fried zucchini.

I was surprised. The food and service were both very good. The decor leaves something to be desired.

Exceptionally friendly staff. They are quick, hard-working and keep the dining area whistle clean. I come once a week for breakfast. The food is fresh, hot and comes quickly. I'm never disappointed.
